Wow, I can't believe how well preserved that battle field really is! Having the arrows and something else being from the middle east, maybe the Romans DID cut all the way through Dacia and went through Germania, heading west towards the border when they got attacked. The archers could have been Syrian archers..idk. Also, does it say who likely won the battle? Having ballistas and other artillery, the Romans were obviously well equipped and the thousand Romans expected to have fought there could have been part of a much larger army. Either the rest was destroyed, or the thousand men did a " Dunkirk" act hock: Thanks a lot to the links to these sites, and it's not a problem being in German! ....hehe...google chrome has translate :roll:
Haha, I kinda build models too :oops: um, I used to a lot, ships, and airplanes. But now I have a schedule that is terrible and leaves me with only my Roman hobby... In fact, I just manage to fit this in when around a computer ...so I'm really sorry if I miss out to reply to anything :neutral:
I always believed the Romans somehow managed to get further onto Germania...they're just too good! 8-)
