Help wanted please

Gladiatorial gladii (sounds strange) were shorter than a standard military issue. Perhaps one of the latter could be shortened by a smith or other metal worker. Shouldn't be that much of a problem to do. Retarii, of course, didn't carry gladii, just a dagger.

In the end, there's just not that much out there for gladiator as compared with soldier gear. (compared "to"? I never get that right.)
