Well Mike, it's a very good read, and in case you forget your ending; the dog saves Alice, and the townsfolk throw a party when Clint returns safe and sound.
35 quid was a bit steep for a novella clearly based on the poetry of William Shatner, but some folk like that kind of thing. It won't make JRMES this time 'round, but maybe the 3rd part of the trilogy will have better luck.
