so, the infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy with attenuated total reflectance (ATR) microscopy show´s that they use a lot of colors. Not only red and never white!
The soldiers clothing was in green, red, blue ...tunics in different colors, cheques and stripes.
I wanna show in my book that the roman time was colorful and not plane.
They painted their armor in different colors. It is difficult to believe that but that´s the truth.
That is the reason that we use blue Segmentata for our Praetorians.
