Comacchio Roman Shipwreck
#1
I recently acquired Osprey's "Imperial Roman Naval Forces 31BC - AD500" and there are several references to artifacts from the Comacchio shipwreck. On page 18 there is an illustration of caligae that were found. Unfortunately, the picture is somewhat small and I'm wondering whether a description of the finds had been published elsewhere, with hopefully better pictures.
