For those interested in the issues surrounding historical fiction, on October 10th, and then repeated on the 14th, there will be a BBC Radio 4 programme dedicated to the genre. The programme's called Open Book and is on the Sunday 10th at 4pm. Guests include Bernard Cornwell and Phillippa Gregory, plus the programme was at the Historical Novel Society's recent conference to take 'vox populi' - www.historicalnovelsociety.org<br>
