I dearly hope that some day before I die (or maybe several days) that I actually get to travel to Egypt and see all of this totally awesome stuff with my own eyes.
This will maybe happen when I have enough money to pay for it all, and that the geological area will not be a hotbed of hatred for U.S. people...
I've been told that the 'real' Egyptians don't hate U.S. people, instead are (desperate) for our tourism money, it's just a few rotten eggs in the mix that messes up the national image.
So maybe Hawass is trying to save face and make Egypt look better, more exciting, expecially if he can get more antiquties back for (me) to come and see them.
But then I'm also dearly wanting to go visit Europe, too, and see all of the awesome stuff over there.
Yet somehow I feel this will never happen as I'll be forced to spend all of my money to go to banks and health insurance...good times. :x
