LIMES XX
#3
Let me point out a couple of things:
a.- "...been published at last..." Well. Taking into account that the Congress was held in leon in Autumn 2006, that it runs to three volumes and 1643 pages, and and that it has been distributed during Limes XXI, the implication in 'at last' that there has been an undefendible, undesirable or prolonged delay for normal publication standards is simply outrageous. Most Congresses of this size take four, five or even more years to be properly published.

b.- Again, at 1640 pages, fully ilustrated, and at more than average paper&printing quality, the cover prize is actually quite CHEAP, even if 140 euros are a lot of euros... , you all know what I mean. No profits made in thsi edition. And no comparison, for example, with BAR volumes either in printing quality or relative cost per page.

c.- Do not expect bargain sales of this volume... except if UK retailers are prepared to lose money.

d.- Have a look at http://www.hoffmeyer.iam.csic.es/anejosglad.htm for te series. As for direct sales, see http://www.publicaciones.csic.es:8080/CSIC/inicio.jsp
