I thought the clip looked a bit 'sketchy' compared to their other work. Apparently, it's intended to portray the battle of Yarmuk! hock: :roll:
Ironic that one of the few times a halfway decent looking (with severe reservations) 1st/2nd century Roman army appears in a film, they're supposed to be 7th-century Byzantines...
Here's a more complete clip, demonstrating (yet again) that a cavalry charge against infantry causes them all to fall about like ninepins!
