With the influence of the Etruscans being so strong over Rome, and my understanding that Etruscan priests were still active after the Etruscan language disappeared, could this have been in Etruscan? I know there were some Roman rituals that were in languages long forgotten but memorized by priests. <p>Richard Campbell, Legio XX.
