I'll be honest here. I see Macro as a younger Bob Hoskins. Saw him once in 'Zulu Dawn' as a colour sergeant - absolutely spot on depiction of that much revered rank.<br>
As for Cato... hmmm, that's tough. We need someone tall, dark and above all young.<br>
I reserve the Vitellius role for Sean Bean. He's got a wonderful way of curling his lip and being able to shift from 'your best mate in the pub' mode to something far darker and more frightening.<br>
Vespasian needs to be someone quite chunky, in a rugby flanker kind of way. Any ideas? <p></p><i></i>
