It occurred to me that paintings are sometimes rolled up and mailed.
If you had someone you wanted to paint a Scutum or Cliptus pattern for you but they lived far away and you didn't want to pay the high shipping costs could a canvas piece be painted mailed and then glued to your shield successfully? Has anyone tried this yet? I am thinking about conducting a experiment to see if it would work by having a Auxillia shield canvas done and mailed from overseas.
