Felted wool- Roman evidence?

There is a picture of Roman Felt workers on a wall painting from Pompeii. Any book on Pompeii should have the picture.

I have collected a few references to felt which will be published in my next book for Tempus.

are you thinking of the fullers from the fullonica? If so, thats not the same thing, thats walking woven cloth, its felt in the sense of felted fibres, not fulled cloth that I'm after this time
