Native English speakers: grammar question

Trust me, that's a very easy thing to do. I'll often recognize Dutch word patterns in my own English and that of other Dutch speaking RATers. I pretty much consider myself perfectly bi-lingual, but there are always things creeping in or certain words that betray an accent (listen to the podcast and you might hear something).
