I'm really sorry I've been away from this thread for so long. We have been having an exam session in school for the last two weeks or so, which has been taking most of my time. To answer your question Gioi, I haven't worked on my cuirass at all. On the other hand I've started my subarmalis (sewing is much easier to squeeze in between studying than hammering
). I'll post some pics one of these days. BTW all those pics are just great! They'll be of great help when I start working on the thorax again.
Giannis: The reason I asked about the hinge-ring combination is because that is a reproduction and I wondered if it made any practical difference to the user. Thanks A LOT for those pics as well, I'm making the pteryges according to one of the statues'. Oh, I found Conolly's book in Athens, didn't have to order, and it's just great! Great load of info!
