new Brooch found in Vindolanda!

[Et tu brute]

Just got back from Vindolanda a few mins ago, it was excellent. I saw the brooch up close, and the photo hardly does it justice! It's a great piece, and I had a great day, there are some wonderful things in Vindolanda, I saw a horsehair crest that was perfectly preserved, it's believed to be the only one of it's kind in the world hock:

We were also lucky enough to arrive at the Roman Army Museum just as there was being a talk by some re-enacters, which was very good, and we had a great walk along walltown crags
