Yeah- it's silly...
It gets better. I bought the mag yesterday, and there's a lovely square belt plate dated to Augustan period (27 BC - AD 14), with a very nice relief of Minerva with what looks to be an eagle. And as if you couldn't guess:
"A military decoration adorned with Minerva... was likely worn by a high ranking officer."
