Sticking Gladius

My problem is; sometimes when returning my Gladius to it's ---------(scabbord)

It sometimes sticks in the corner, this does not look good when on public display,This also hapens to others in the group,

Bore it out a bit? Is the scabbard too narrow or is the problem how and where it's attached to your balteus?

I've never heard it described your way before, but I'll certainly remember it.
