Hi all,
on my neverending journey through the depths of web, I've found this gem:

Domaszewski, A. von: Die Rangordnung des römischen Heeres, Bonn, 1908.

It's the original version from 1908, not the second edition with update written by Dobson, but it can still be very useful.

There are rather a lot of OCR errors in the "text" version, which frequently becomes almost illegible, but the "image" version is very good.

It's the original version from 1908, not the second edition with update written by Dobson, but it can still be very useful.

Of course, although the 1967 edition has the obvious bonus of Brian Dobson's 60-page introduction, the main text is a straight reprint of the 1908 edition. So you can still use the pagination from this on-line version.
