Hi all,
If you go to your profile page, and look into the avatars gallery, you'll find some appropriate faces for this board!

These guys all look awfully martial. Would you happen to have a beneficiarius or a legionary penpusher?

My pleasure. Smile
they come in several categories: BC/1st-2nd c./3rd c./4th c.
All of them are taken from plates in the Osprey series and similar books.

Those are beautifully drawn. But only 2 females :? I guess that there are not too many on this list, am I right? It would be cool to have some gladiatrixes too. The females look really good though. Oh well, I'll just keep using my own.

Hi Julia,

Well, I would have liked to post more women's avatars, but those books I find them in just don't portray enough women!
I never even came across a picture of a gladiator, so so gladiatrix either, I'm afraid..

I prepared files for: Photoshop and Gimp in two sizes ..

- 100 x 100 .. download from (47 kB) : http://azor.cisovanet.pl/inne/border_100_square.zip
- 150 x 100 .. download from (87 kB): http://azor.cisovanet.pl/inne/border_150_rectangle.zip

.. so now everyone can easy make for himself his avatar with so nice border related to RA forum design .. as I have on mine on the left ...

Yes, that's possible. Would be better if you had a couple, so people could choose. :Wink
