Show here your Roman soldier impression
This is one of the very best group promos I have seen so far:

LEGIO I ITALICA - Official Promo 2011:

I agree Robert and play this a lot. Full marks to the group.

Also I love the background music and feel as if I should know it. Anyone out there who knows what it is?

Graham.
"Is all that we see or seem but a dream within a dream" Edgar Allan Poe.

"Every brush-stroke is torn from my body" The Rebel, Tony Hancock.

"..I sweated in that damn dirty armor....TWENTY YEARS!', Charlton Heston, The Warlord.

Last November we made a march during which, a friend of mine took pictures and video. Now I have done an unpretentious edition but can be enjoyable to watch, I think. You can view the photos in:

These trailers are awesome! It would be nice if some independent film makers could make a historically accurate movie since hollywood cant seem to get its act together.

Hi guys!

We regularly participate at a medieval festival, fighting with gepids and huns. Here is a short movie from last year, we are obviously the late romans on the left Big Grin This is the movie of the organizers.

That's impressive, actually fighting, I'd love to see a re-enactment like that live, you have a cool website, what's the 2013 events? I'm going to visit Budapest for Aquinicum after the Carnuntum roman fest, you have anything going on that weekend or you will be participating in carnuntum?

Thank you. After the week of Carnuntum, we'll have in Hungary the Night of the Museums, which means programs at all museums all night long. We will be in the Fine Arts Museum, but there won't be any fighting, due to the marble floor.

We will be present at Marle, though.

Very nice movie Mark!
To defeat the barbarians, I recommend though that your unit keeps to a tight formation and use long spears and archers! Big Grin

The battle had archers, sadly they were on a horse, and shooting at us Sad

(hence the big grey shield, it's a styrofoam thing, especially made to amuse the crowd with the arrows which stick out).
