Nice work Radka, a lot of work in the tribune subarmalis as well I see!

Thank you all for your kind comments.

Regarding the legionary subarmalis, I'm happy that it can seen that I am wearing subarmalis under my segmentata. More important thing is that my shoulders do not hurt from the weight of the armor as much as with the older subarmalis. Smile This heavier design works with segmentata better, the older one was good enough for cushioning blows but it was not thick enough for long-term wear.

Yes, I'm using deepeeka spatha in those two photos. The main reason is that I think a mounted tribune can fight better with a longer sword, plus I don't think that any surviving parazonium was ever found.

And as for the work on the tribune's subarmalis, it is machine stitched - there's over 100 pteryges on it. The fringes were created by fraying the material by hand, and the rest of my clothing is hand-stitched, but the subarmalis was a bit too much   Oh, and the design of the subarmalis is very similar to the legionary one, the difference is this one uses lighter, softer wool (an old military woolen blanket, actually) and lighter linen too.

Great Impressions. Lots to aspire to.

Just a heads up as to a previous conversation here.

I was at the Bridal shop today to pick up my dress and checked out the tatto cover up. The price was $30.00. It comes in a tin suitcase about 4in. by 6in. if memory serves.

If anyone is having trouble locating it I would be glad to ship it out. Just cover the cost & shipping.

best!

Teodor,
I know the exact meotope that you are basing your impression off of. Nice job!! I myself am working on the same/simular impession. Great catch of the balteus not having the apron, which if memory serves me correctly, not of the meotopes show.

Ummm... ah... would like a job in our public school system? It is obvious he will not grow up to be a drug dealer or steal cars which is what our school systems turns out these days... ebeven if they get past the 8th grade. Which almost half do not.

Congratulations.
