Over to you Alexander.

I think this is the Severan "Arch of the Argentarii (money-changers)" at Rome (Piazza di S. Giorgio al Velabro), with its depiction of military standards on the door jambs.
Edit: Changed my mind -- doesn't look quite right.

Remains of the stable near Bethlehem?
Moi Watson

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, Merlot in one hand, Cigar in the other; body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO, what a ride!

Now that would have been clever!

Quote:And they always find in archeology a series of small walls. Every time, a series of small walls. Everywhere you go. "We've found a series of small walls, we're very excited! We think this proves they had walls in olden days. They were very small, and a series of small wall people."

Ok, a clue - this was one of the most famous places in ancient Greece.

Actually it's the only place in ancient Greece that many people have heard of nowadays... ;-)
