It is at the famous Roman fort of Housesteads on Hadrian's Wall but is not Roman it is a much later Corn dryer built into the east tower of the south gate of the fort.

That is very true but we did indeed have a very good week getting around all those places, that paticular structure is not the only one of its kind at Housesteads for there is yet another in one of the Roman granaries. There is also the point that you forgot and that is I used to work at Housesteads and know just about every stone of that monument as also Chesters.
