RAT Conference Regensburg 2013
#16
Well, it wouldn´t be any longer, afterwards. ;-)
But you´d still have Bliesbruck-Reinheim. :-)
There is Möckenlohe not too far from Regensburg, though.

I thought my diet might be heading down the tubes, but I see Saurkraut is on the menu!
Haven't had that in years! :-P

The Spätzle with Cheese and Onion are for me  And a good beer like König Ludwig Dunkel

I decided on my lecture, it will be "The Romans in North Germany" (though the conference will be in South Germany) Confusedhock:

Did we decide on a date yet? Because Christian's originally proposed date coincides with the IRM at Villa Borg. Like I said, all dates in April 2013 are appropriate for me but maybe the others would like to go to the IRM.

I have updated the program and made the file a bit smaller... :

Quote:Hmmm... if that would only work... ^^

"Relocating" the RAT Conference to the Villa Borg could work - depending on some data, such as the number of participants. I haven't checked with Bettina Birkenhagen yet but I will, if there is a signal of basic interest ...

Basically it sounds like a tempting idea to combine the IRM with the RAT Conference (once, as a trial). The Villa Borg's media room could be used for the Conference.

But you have already invested a consideral amount of work in your Regensburg schedule, Christian. I don't like to spoil these efforts.

... or what do you think ...?

Best wishes,
Frank.

Hi Frank,

You could propose Villa Borg for the next conference in 2014. We've had a thread for proposals and then one with a poll for the 2013 conference. I guess this will work also for the 2014 conference.

The originally proposed weekend would be an absolute no-no for me. Have to be in London for work. And I don't want to skip to conferences in a row!

You have my support for that one! It would be nice to go there...
