Recreating a Greek Cavalryman
Mounting. Same with the vaulting on the move.
If you are in armour, especially, it is a much better way than a 21st Century stepladder!

What are you using for the leopard skins? I was also wondering if you could post close pictures of the neck strap and greek saddle blanket set up.

We use leopard skins. Take a look at http://comitatus.net/greekcavalry.html and http://earlyridinggroup.org/

Happy new year.

Thats what I thought it looked like. Leopard is banned here in the states so most likely I will use a leopard print cow hide.

What I was hoping to find out from the pictures is how the breast strap fits and where it attatches to the girth. In the two images it looks like thay have diferent points and then your rig forgoes it alltogether.
