The Pugio and the Sheath,

sorry that I am not giving a long explanation of how to, I am very busy at the time, but it would be the same like the ones of our Friends

Very nice! One of the best i have seen.

THe construction of the pommel is very curious, with that brass border. Is based in a real one?

I was just looking at the same thing Cesar - I used organic (wood) material for my pugio.

Sulla Felix, LUCIUS ALFENUS AVITIANUS

Thanks,

Yes, every detail is based on an original find,
The blade is based on the Ljubljana pugio, cause this one came as close as a drop of water to the X-ray pictures of the Auerberg pugio who is rusted in his sheath,

the grip construction is based on the Haltern pugio ( wood core covered with a thin brass foil ) and the Cetina pugio, cause the Auerberg grip is a rusty piece ( see picture - copy right protected ) and there is not much to see on the X-ray pictures

Gaius Julius Caesar,

Thanks,

sure I take orders Big Grin

Excellent pugio Lucius. I must agree, it is one of the best I have seen.

Keep up the unquestionably professional work.
