It's not a knife, it's a sword (too long for a knife). We have swords like this found on our territory in Poland.
Now I have a new one. I will make a photo tommorow.

Handle is made of ash, copper rivets.
Scabbard is made of alder, glued with natural glue. Other elements are made of brass.

This is my early migration period Kit, with my partner in crime, at Old Sarum at the Battle of Baddon last weekend.
Dan is in a home made spanganhelm and leather war coat, that is biased on the sutton hoo press blechs. I'm In my niederstotzingen lamellar armour, with a modified get dressed for battle spangenhelm.
