Mercaforvm 2008
#1
Last week-end the Cohors I Gallica attended to the XIIIth Mercaforvm Roman Festival at Calahorra (Roman Calagurris) Spain.
We had lots and public and fun, thought there wasn't space or safety enough as to shoot any of our catapults
The gladiators of Collegium Gladiatorium were also invited to the festival and it was really nice to meet Opifex in person! Big Grin

It\'s all an accident, an accident of hands. Mine, others, all without mind, from one extreme to another, but neither works nor will ever.

You have not seen mine!

I love reenactment, but I would NEVER depilate my legs for it. :x

Any photos of the 25 gladiators fighting, Aitor? Confusedhock:

I missed it...but I´m reasonably well in the High Rhin. A lot of Baths here!

No, sorry Sad
There was a huge crowd crammed in a realively small place and we could mostly only hear the nastily boring local speaker

Hello, Aitor.

I would imagine it was a hygine thing Kat, to stop creepy-crawlies getting a foothold....ticks, lice, and a few other little buggers that like to cling on to human hairs to make a home..... :x
