Hi everyone
My name is Patryk Nieczarowski .
First I must to appologise for my horroble eanglish… I promes to be better.
I’m young (I’ve 29 years old) armorer and sculpter from Poland. This is my debiut on this forum.
My web site ( www.nieczar.civ.pl ) is not updated long time but some exemples of my work are possible to see here : http://photofile.name/users/nieczar/
I make my helmets by original artefacts and iconography
I’m learning still ,so maybe my helmets are not perfect yet …but I work hard to be better and I hope I’ll be really good someday ….
I make by new techniques (electric tools ,steel matrix ,etc.) and also by old techniques ( raising in one piece by hand hammer ,forging by hot way etc. )
I'm interested by every head-protect with face-mask :^) espessialy Kipchak-Polovcy helmets from 12-14th. cen. but my big dream is to make someday roman cavalry sport helmet with Amazon face ...because this kind of roman helmet is my favorite
I made few roman helmets ...but I don't know are they good work because I'm not specialist in this case ....but I like to do it
....even now I make the order for roman helmet (raising in one piece)
I hope You can to help me when I'll to have problem with something because as I sed I'm not specialist ....but You are
…one more time sorry for my Eanglish
Best regards
Patryk

Hello all !
My name is Gregory, and I like Rome's history, especially BC.
I went to Roman's addicted by playing games, reading books and all that jazz
I am making re-enactment but I re-enact middle-ages, especially 1300's years.
I have started an association of sword learners, especially Talhoffer for they who know.
History is my passion, and I will try to start painting figurines (1/72 scale), starting with Romans 1/2 BC.
I came here to share with you this passion, although I know I won't be a regular poster (English is not my mother tong and unfortunately I have not lot of time to share) and assuming I will be more lurker than teacher here, knowing my knowledge are not very sharp for now.
I wish you strengh and honor D )
Regards,
Greg

Likewise here! Constantly jabbering and nagging (trying to find a proper translation) about economical and social changes, but not a single lesson about military aspects
Greetings,
Really a shame, isn't it? History IS war.

Our girls are notoriously beautiful!
Julius said that the Belgians are the bravest and in his (unfortunately lost) next part of the 'Gallic wars' he said that the belgian women are the prettiest.

When an Italian man once declared to me that British woman are pretty ugly I had to point out the men we had to breed with  (obviously excluding any British male and female RAT members, I've seen some pics and you're a darn fine bunch )

Next time it happens, reply, "Hmm, at least most of our women shave their armpits."
 (wait for it.... wait for it...)
