my re-enactment area
#1
Hi all,

In the "soldier impression" thread I showed my impression a couple of days ago (I think 2 weeks already). After that I was asked to provide some more pics of the area where that pictures were taken. It's the Biblical open air museum in Heilig Landstichting, near Nijmegen, The Netherlands.

Now i've had some time to make some more photo's of the Roman Reconstruction where I do my re-enactment activities, and like to share them with you all. Please visit my photo-album.

Hope you all enjoy it. If you have some question, please let me know and I'll try to answer them.

It looks great! Do other re-enactment groups perform displays there?

In the past Gemina has done a lot of displays there. The last few years we had some displays of Corbvlo and 2 german groups, which names I always forget.

Is it near Archeonlaan? I'd like to visit it when there...

Hi Ivan,

It is a museum in a little village next to Nijmegen. Archeon (Alpen aan de Rijn) isn't near. I think it is good to combine with either Museum Het Valkhof in Nijmegen or Regional Museum Xanten, if you'd like to see some more roman objects.
