This book by Tom Holland is getting a lot of favourable attention in the UK. The SundayTimes reviewed it favourably and Radio 4 interviewed the author tonight.<br>
A study of Sulla and Caesar and the late days of the Republic where Rome is revealed as a business which used war to make its money.He seems to have enjoyed using the more mundane references <p></p><i></i>
