Jasper had gone native

Today, the impossible became true. Our own board supervisor got himself dressed up in ancient clothing.

He played a early irregular batavian for the an item for a dutch tv-serie about the Batavian revolt. I'm sure Robert Vermaat will post some pictures soon!

But we're very proud we finally got him dressed up 'normal', after triing for several years.

I was forced by overwhelming Roman might!

Actually, I was just looking at my pictures, the whole story will soon follow on my blog at www.ancient-warfare.com . And just to prove that I'm not a total bastard about all this, here's the evidence.

Jasper probably only tried on the Batavian kit to make sure the hasta's and lancea and the Krefelt helmets and shields I made for his wild Batavian bunch at the Roman Festival (see thread "Help Jasper ..... ") were up to scratch.

I applaud his willingness to participate, Corbulo was short of men and he pitched in to help for the "mass" takes. Big Grin

Yay Jasper!

before too long you'll have a dozen kits in a dozen time periods and have no idea what century to play each weekend! Muahahahah!
