Hello
I know photography was invented much later Big Grin .
What I mean by this title is this: I need photos of reanactors of West Roman Army and Germanic foederati, circa 470 AD.
Can anyone help me?
Best regards

Comitatus re-enact 4th to 5th century, so that could be helpful, but possibly a little early, heres a link www.comitatus.net

Slave,

Here are drawings (sorry photography wasn't available!) of late romans:

Also, although not exactly what your looking for... here are Romano-brition's roman infantry:

Here's a late Roman tunica and it’s in surprisingly good condition too! (kidding it’s a recreation)

Others I'm sure will have better examples but... at least it's a start.

Hey antonivs, are those from Invasio Barbarorum for BI?!
"Marcus Hortensius Castus"
or, to those interested,
"Kyle Horton"

formerly Horton III

Mmm well I doubt using IBFD unit cards as historical source is a very good idea! At least I won't give my own RTW mod - Arthurian Total War - pictures as a source, it is not precise as a re-enactor can be.

Try the Comitatus, the Foederati or even us (Letavia) even if we are only freshly started.

Foederati (circa 450)

Letavia (circa 490)

"O niurt Ambrois ri Frangc ocus Brethan Letha."
"By the strenght of Ambrosius, king of the Franks and the Armorican Bretons."

Hello
Many thanks to all, for your help.
I will begin (when I have more free time from the artwork assignments) the detailed drawings of this illustration.
I will then call on the expertise of you all to help me include the historically accurate details.
Many thanks
Best regards
