Just a question: do the Swiss have voting rights for women now?

I've had students ask how 5th c Athens can be regarded as a democracy when women - and slaves (!) - didn't have the right to vote.

I’m for woman voting but if a person is raised to cook, clean and sow and not to think or have an understanding of things going on outside the house, are they capable of making a sound decision that would affect everyone as a whole?

Before you send out the troops, I’m just throwing the idea out there.
