Moi Watson

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, Merlot in one hand, Cigar in the other; body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO, what a ride!

Evan, I have this book. It is a quite detailed coverage of mainly technical issues concerning the metals and different techniques used in making roman armour. It covers the making of helmets, body armour and shield bosses. Very useful for people working with metal.

I succumbed early to this sale......had to confess to Mrs Caballo.....problem is, I pass Oxbow once a week on the way in from the station, and am lured in by the siren songs....

I have the book myself and is extremely interesting
I would say is a must for someone who works metal but not only
I am not agreeing with all conclusions but I also must confess that they are not without support

BTW eddited to say, is worth the money (even if you would pay for it 100% not 30% as offered)
