I would like to know if the are any museums / sights / places concerning roman empire in Strasbourg / France? My parents are visiting the city and would like to know...

The Palais Rohan used to have the finds of VIII Augusta.

Yes, the Archeology Museum is in the basement of the palace (it holds two more Museums in the other floors), in a series of XVIII centuries white painted vaulted rooms. Quite interesting and known pieces are there, among thousands of other pieces.

I would recomend to visit the Musee Historique too, centered on the history of the city. A 1/600 model of the city made in the XVIII century is on show hock:

Relatively close and more modern is Karlsruhe's (that's Germany) one, which holds a "mini British Museum" in the Schloss: stuff from all the world, including, of course, Roman...
