It's not wrong. It works fine! Its a mock up of a cestrosphendone prototype tested by another slingophile.<br>

I've also tested the Shumate style of cestrosphendone sling with equally effective results. No photo on my site, though, because its made of lack-lustre string construction<br>

FWIW there is an article on the cestrosphendone in the Royal Armouries journal Arms and Armour Vol 2, No 1, pp79-88. The author retranslates the original sources and uses these to make his reconstruction.
