If I can borrow a hoplon from someone, I can come too as a (beginning) Greek re-enactor. I could come as a Roman Legionair too, when necessary. Or bring one with me.
Suppose they held a war and nobody came?

Splendid Paul!
I will keep checking for you to post the final dates. I am "grilling" a couple of friends (Nikos the artist among them!) If the "grilling" is successful I will let you know in time. Kind regards Stefanos

When your friends are "grilled" to a turn, we can all go and "kebab" some Persians on our dories.

Leonidas,
Don't worry about the hoplon/aspis, we have some spares. Come prepared to act the Hoplite and bring your Roman mate with you, I'm sure we can find something to do with him...

For those of you who may not be following the discussions under "How many Greek re-enactors are there?" The dates for the Ancient Greek Festival are set for the 3rd and 4th of June, 2006. The venue is Watford Boys' Grammar School, as mentioned above.
