Just curious, but where is the fortress in relation to the modern town of Masada?
Couldn't spot it on Google Earth yesterday.

Important not to get confused between the kibbutz in northern Israel and the fortress in the south. ;-)

I was actually looking to see if the remnants from '74 battles were visible when I saw the name on the satellite image...easily confused us oldies! ;-)
