Greetings,
I am looking for information on the Xiphos with scabbard found at Campovalano (Italy).
You can see a picture here:

Does someone have better (and detail) pictures of this find?
The description of the scabbard I have read speaks of an iron scabbard with bone inlay at the scabbard mouth and chape.
Was the scabbard completely made of iron? Or did it have an leather covered iron core? How were the scabbard throat and mouth constructed?
