Well, we all know you shouldn't always trust the description a vendor or supplier adds to an 'historical replica'. But this description made me laugh even harder

Roman Gladius Swords are the original roman designs used by "GLADIATORS"in 15 th century. The blades of these swords are made up of 'High Tempered steel' with attrective hand made wooden handles in different colors having brass fittings at the bottom of the handle like the original one.

Well, I will not discuss where the quote came from, although the third hit on google will tell you, but well, the gladius described isn't worth much, either...
