Just to let you know Legion Ireland will be hosting a 'Roman Day' at the National Museum of Ireland in Kildare street, Dublin on Sunday next, the 9th of March from 2:00pm to 5:30pm. Events include:

1) Display of historical replica swords, shields, spears, armour and much much more...

2) Combat display including gladiatorial combat...

3) Childrens activities including 'Be a Roman soldier for a day'. Here we take groups of children and train them as soldiers :!:

So if you have any time to spare then why not call past and say hello...We're hoping Emperior Berticus will call past to collect his taxes :lol:

I was there the weekend of the "sea stallion" arrival and it was very nice.

I remember traveling in the Luas with a 2 meter bearded red haired Danish form the museum. Luckily he was more friendly than his ancestors :lol:
