Marinus,
These are extremely heavy, and the propeller pieces look bad in my opinion. If you want a Late Roman belt I could easily make you a much more authentic one for just a little more in cost.

Yes, Steve,
It's the Deepeeka belt. The propellors are way too big and heavy. And without wanting to be rude, I don't think it would be long enough for your manly physique! Paul makes stunning late belts! There's pictures of it here... http://www.romanarmy.com/rat/viewtopic. ... 149#106149 Alternatively, Nodge Nolan has some beautiful and accurate repro late belt components.

I share the crioticism about the propeller stiffeners.
The narrow part of the belt is far too short - it should be able to be wrapped around the belt a few times and then dangle nicely.. IMHO the buckle itself is incorrect, the plate being a weak (the decorations aren't well-understood) copy of Ray Moseley's copy of the Oudenburg buckle: Left: Deepeeka's buckle. Right: Ray Mosely's buckle. Below: Ray Moseley's buckle in silvered version:

Another version of the same:

Quote:Nice Robert did you make this? The buckle is from Ray Moseley (as I wrote ), the belt is from Richomeres (Helge Dunbar), I make the tunic and the squamata, yes.
