Did you notice that next to the centurion question, for which they marked eighty men as incorrect, was a link to a website that could help.
The first thing I noticed on the site, apart from Chris Haines' face, was the fact that a centurio was in command of EIGHTY men. It seems that the people who marked the test did not bother to read the helpful information themselves.

Okay, official Quartermaster exchange of equipment:
Centurion Susanne:
one(1) piece of fence for one(1) sanguine spatha
Attention to orders, Centurion Susanne has her official deity hereby changed form Odin to Jupiter/Zeus. This is in keeping with the finest traditions of the Roman Army.

That was an interesting quiz, but I, along with everyone else, missed the Centurion question. I can explicitly remember reading in Goldsworthy's
Roman Army at War that the total strength of cohorts 2-10 was 480 men, under the supervision of 6 centurions...if I do the math correctly that means 80 men under each centurions command. Right? I guess someone should alert the maker that specifing the "type" of legion, cohort or maniple, might be a little helpful.
Optio and Susanne...make that 3 (although currently I just have a wooden gladius, the real thing is coming this summer)
.
Thanks for the quiz Tarbicus.
