Hi, I'm new here, like the site a lot! I think HBO is currently shooting a late republic series called "Roma", focusing on Caesar/Pompey, but from a small grunt's point of view. One of the big US networks (ABC? can't remember which one) is also shooting a Rome series, focussing on Octavian's rise to power. I'll try to dig up some more information. I've seen some pics from the HBO production's Rome set, looks pretty authentic, painted temples/statues etc. We'll see. <p></p><i></i>
