Specially when the Intercisa is a mass produced helmet, which doesn´t fit your head, and you are tired of wearing it. Pass the strap end through the two neckguard straps, give it a couple of loops at your back, et voila! As the cheekguards can be folded inside, nothing makes this uncomfortable. Also, it counterwheights the sword side.
Maybe it will be useful for some lazy, undisciplend late Romans who are tired of wearing armour [/Vegetius mode OFF]
