Kalkriese Seg on a column/relief? - Gaius Julius Caesar - 06-30-2007

Kalkriese Seg on a column/relief? Looking at the reconstruction of the Kalkriese seg, I have seen representations of what appear to me to be seg, which some say may be leather backed. But what if it was an attempt to show the bronze edging, which was a novalty on this new form of armour? Any thoughts, or is this too far out......? :?:

Byron, which columns or reliefs are you thinking of?

AS usual, jumped off half-cocked. Have been too busy to look for it, but give me a wee bit of time and I will track it down, by name at least.

Found another relief that I have been looking for for a while now, but that is another matter altogether
