Pluto, Dis Pater? - Gashford - 03-11-2003

Hello all

Over on the Roman Combat Sports forum we are debating the use of Dis Pater, Pluto or Charon in the gladiatorial arena.

At the moment I am trying to track down two pieces of information and wondered whether any of you guys who are up on Roman religion could help out.

Are Dis Pater and Pluto one in the same?
Does anyone have any images of either of these gods? I have not been able to find anything original at the moment.

All the best
