If they'd simply restore the ruins as I've been advocating for so long, they wouldn't have these problems. But Italy is hellbent on maintaining them in suspended states of decay.
Why can't they get funds from the EU ?
Tourism revenues won't cut it. And I wouldn't visit the Forum in the state it's in. It looks like Hiroshima on August 7, 1945 :x
